Program
Day 1: Casablanca Airport – Rabat
Welcome at Casablanca airport and transfer to Rabat, the capital of Morocco and one of its imperial cities.
Check-in at your hotel, followed by a short city tour. Start with the Kasbah of the Udayas, a fortress on a hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, built during the Almohad period.
Overnight in Rabat.
Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
After breakfast, continue the tour of Rabat. First stop at the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, housing the tombs of King Mohammed V, King Hassan II, and Prince Moulay Abdellah. Next, visit the Hassan Tower, the minaret of the Hassan Mosque.
Transfer to Meknes, the former capital of Morocco under Sultan Moulay Ismail. Visit Bab El Mansour Gate, Harri Souani Stables, the medina walls, and the entrance to the Royal Palace. Continue to the Roman ruins of Volubilis for a guided tour.
Transfer to Fes for the night.
Day 3: Fes (City Tour)
Enjoy a guided tour of Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco. First stop at the entrance of the largest Royal Palace in Morocco. Then, visit the old medina (Fes el Bali) with its narrow alleys and numerous merchants. Visit the Tanner's Souk, the oldest tannery in the world, the Jamaa Al-Karaouine (the first university in the world), and a Medersa (Koranic school).
Overnight in Fes.
Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, depart for the desert.
Stop at Ifrane, a ski resort in the Middle Atlas, famous for its alpine climate and European-style houses. Continue through several Amazigh (Berber) villages to Midelt for an optional lunch. Proceed along the Ziz River to Erfoud.
*Optional transfer by 4x4 to the heart of the Merzouga desert. Dinner and overnight in a charming lodge near the dunes, with an option to spend the night in a standard or luxury camp.
Day 5: Merzouga – Tinghir
*Option of a camel ride at sunrise along the Merzouga dunes.
Return to the lodge for breakfast, then depart for Tinghir via Rissani and Tinjdad. Tinghir is a magnificent oasis extending for 40 km with one of the largest palm groves in the country. Walk above the Todra Gorge, a 300 m high wall carved into the High Atlas Mountains. Visit the old village and stroll through the oasis.
Dinner and overnight in Tinghir.
Day 6: Tinghir – Dades – Kelaat M'Gouna – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, transfer to Ouarzazate via the Dades Valley and Kelaat M'Gouna. The road is spectacular, lined with kasbahs, crossing desert landscapes, villages, and palm groves.
Stop in Kelaat M'Gouna, famous for its rose cultivation and related products.
Transfer to Ouarzazate, nicknamed the "Hollywood of Morocco," for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Visit the Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate, one of the most beautiful kasbahs in Morocco. Then, visit the film studios.
Continue to the spectacular fortress of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Transfer to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N'Tichka pass.
Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 8: Marrakech (City Tour)
Guided tour of Marrakech after breakfast. Start with the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest in Marrakech, with its 77-meter minaret. Continue to the famous Jemaa el Fna Square, the lively heart of Marrakech, then visit the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs.
Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 9: Marrakech – Casablanca
After breakfast, transfer to Casablanca. Orientation tour with an exterior visit of the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in the country. Stroll along the Corniche of Ain Diab and stop at Mohammed V Square. Overnight in Casablanca.
Day 10: Airport Transfer
After breakfast, transfer to Casablanca airport for your return flight.
