Program:
Day 1: Fes – Middle Atlas – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
Departure from Fes at 08:00 AM.
Pass through the city of Ifrane and the Middle Atlas with its varied landscapes.
Stop in Azrou, a Berber village, to photograph the monkeys.
Lunch in Midelt.
Continue towards the Ziz Valley.
Arrive at the hotel in the desert in the afternoon.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert
Start the desert excursion at 09:00 AM.
Tour the dunes in a 4x4, visit nomadic tents and oases.
Visit Khamlia, a village known for its Gnawa inhabitants, descendants of former slaves, and experience their music and dance.
Lunch in the village of Merzouga.
Return to the hotel and cross the dunes on camelback to spend the night in a nomadic camp.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Erfoud – Fes
Return to the hotel early in the morning to admire the sunrise over the dunes.
Breakfast and shower at the hotel.
Depart for Fes via Rissani, the seat of the current Moroccan royal family, the Alaouites.
Stop in Erfoud to observe the transformation of fossils into various artifacts.
Cross the Middle Atlas again and have lunch in Midelt, the apple capital.
Return to Fes in the afternoon.
