Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Day 1 · Tangier → Chefchaouen

   Scenic drive through the Rif mountains, blue alleys of Chefchaouen. Night in a riad.

2. 2

   Day 2 · Chefchaouen → Fes

   Roman ruins of Volubilis, Meknes and the Bab El Mansour gate. Night in a riad.

3. 3

   Day 3 · Fes

   Guided tour of Fes: medina, tanneries, Al Quaraouiyine, medersa and royal palace. Night in a riad.

4. 4

   Day 4 · Fes → Merzouga

   Azrou cedar forest and its monkeys, Ziz valley and its palm groves, sunset camel ride over Erg Chebbi, Berber dinner and campfire. Night in a desert camp under the stars.

5. 5

   Day 5 · Merzouga → Dades Gorges

   Sunrise over the dunes, walk through the Todra Gorges, Dades Gorges. Night at the hotel.

6. 6

   Day 6 · Dades Gorges → Marrakech

   Valley of Roses at Kelaat M’Gouna, Aït Ben Haddou kasbah (UNESCO), Tichka pass over the High Atlas. Night in a riad.

7. 7

   Day 7 · Marrakech

   Guided tour of Marrakech: Koutoubia, Bahia palace, Saadian tombs, souks and Jemaa el-Fna. Night in a riad.

8. 8

   Day 8 · Marrakech

   Transfer to the airport. End of the tour.
