Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Day 1 · Agadir → Essaouira

   Essaouira: fishing port, medina and ramparts facing the Atlantic. Night in a riad.

2. 2

   Day 2 · Essaouira → Marrakech

   Argan forest and argan oil cooperative. Night in a riad.

3. 3

   Day 3 · Marrakech

   Guided tour of Marrakech: Koutoubia, Bahia palace, Saadian tombs, souks and Jemaa el-Fna, Majorelle garden. Night in a riad.

4. 4

   Day 4 · Marrakech → Fes

   Stop at the Hassan II mosque in Casablanca, Rabat: Kasbah of the Udayas, Hassan tower and Mohammed V mausoleum. Night in a riad.

5. 5

   Day 5 · Fes

   Guided tour of Fes: medina, tanneries, Al Quaraouiyine, medersa and royal palace. Night in a riad.

6. 6

   Day 6 · Fes → Imilchil

   Azrou cedar forest and its monkeys, mountain road to Lake Tislit in Imilchil. Night at a guesthouse.

7. 7

   Day 7 · Imilchil → Merzouga

   Walk through the Todra Gorges, sunset camel ride over Erg Chebbi, Berber dinner and campfire. Night in a desert camp under the stars.

8. 8

   Day 8 · Merzouga → Aït Ben Haddou

   Sunrise over the dunes, Rissani souk, Draa valley and its kasbahs. Night at the hotel.

9. 9

   Day 9 · Aït Ben Haddou → Taroudant

   Tazenakht carpet cooperative, Taliouine saffron museum, Taroudant ramparts. Night at the hotel.

10. 10

    Day 10 · Taroudant → Agadir

    Return drive. End of the tour.
