Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 · Fes → Merzouga
Ifrane and the Middle Atlas, Azrou’s monkeys, lunch in Midelt, the Ziz valley. Arrival at the foot of the dunes.
Day 2 · Merzouga desert
4x4 dune tour, nomad tents and oases, Gnawa music in Khamlia. Camel ride to the camp for the night.
Day 3 · Merzouga → Fes
Sunrise, Rissani, Erfoud’s fossils, then back through the Middle Atlas.
