Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Day 1 · Fes → Merzouga

   Ifrane, Azrou’s cedar forest and its monkeys, Midelt, the Ziz valley and the Tafilalet palm grove.

2. 2

   Day 2 · Merzouga

   Rissani souk, welcome tea, then a camel ride to camp. Campfire, music and a night under the stars.

3. 3

   Day 3 · Erg Chebbi → Todra Gorges

   Sunrise, Gnawa music in Khamlia, the old Paris-Dakar track via Ouzina. Night at the Todra Gorges.

4. 4

   Day 4 · Todra → Marrakech

   Ouarzazate, Aït Ben Haddou (UNESCO), Telouet kasbah, Tichka pass.

5. 5

   Day 5 · Marrakech ⇄ Essaouira

   Harbour, market and ramparts facing the Atlantic. Back in Marrakech in the afternoon.
